วันนี้ (4 ก.ย. 2568) กองทัพบกได้รับรายงานจากศูนย์ปฏิบัติการกองทัพภาคที่ 1 ว่าพบประชาชนชาวกัมพูชาประมาณ 150 คน เข้ามารวมตัวประท้วงแสดงความไม่พอใจในบริเวณใกล้กับหลักเขตแดนที่ 46 บ้านหนองจาน อ.โคกสูง จ.สระแก้ว ซึ่งเป็นพื้นที่ที่ยังอยู่ในพื้นที่อ้างสิทธิ์ โดยพบว่าประชาชนบางส่วนมีลักษณะพฤติกรรมที่ไม่เหมาะสม แสดงท่าทียั่วยุเจ้าหน้าที่ พกพาไม้เป็นอาวุธ และบางรายมีลักษณะเป็นแกนนำของมวลชน ซึ่งสังเกตได้จากการใช้และพกพาวิทยุสื่อสารประจำตัว พร้อมพบว่ามีทหารกัมพูชาคอยสังเกตการณ์และร่วมอยู่ในกลุ่มมวลชนชาวกัมพูชาด้วย

ซึ่งตั้งแต่เกิดเหตุ ศูนย์ปฏิบัติการกองทัพภาคที่ 1 โดยกองกำลังบูรพา ได้จัดกำลังพลร่วมกับชุดควบคุมฝูงชนของเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ สถานีตำรวจภูธรสระแก้ว เข้าควบคุมสถานการณ์ พร้อมเตรียมดำเนินการกับกลุ่มผู้ประท้วง หากพบว่ามีการรุกล้ำอธิปไตยไทยและกระทำผิดกฎหมายในทันที

ล่าสุด พลตรี วินธัย สุวารี โฆษกกองทัพบก เปิดเผยถึงกรณีดังกล่าวว่าเมื่อเวลา 13.30 น. กองกำลังบูรพาได้รายงานเพิ่มเติมว่าทางกัมพูชามีการเกณฑ์ประชาชน ทั้งจากนอกพื้นที่ และที่สัญจรผ่านไปมา เข้ามาร่วมประท้วงและแสดงท่าทียั่วยุต่อทหารไทยในพื้นที่เพิ่มเติม ซึ่งการกระทำในครั้งนี้ ถือเป็นการละเมิดต่อข้อตกลงหยุดยิงที่ทั้งไทยและกัมพูชาได้มีมติเห็นพ้องร่วมกันในการดำเนินการ จากการประชุม GBC และ RBC ที่ผ่านมา

รวมทั้งโฆษกกองทัพบกได้ย้ำว่า ขอให้กัมพูชายึดถือและปฏิบัติตามข้อระเบียบต่างๆ ที่กำหนด ทั้งที่เคยได้ให้ไว้ร่วมกัน และที่เป็นสมาชิกภาคีในอนุสัญญาต่างๆ ในระดับสากล ซึ่งกองทัพบก โดยกองทัพภาคที่ 1 ยืนยันถึงความพร้อมในการปฏิบัติภารกิจ หากตรวจพบการกระทำผิดของประชาชนชาวกัมพูชา ภายใต้ขอบเขตอำนาจหน้าที่ที่มีอยู่ เพื่อดำรงไว้ซึ่งอธิปไตยของชาติ ไม่ให้มีใครมารุกราน ตลอดจนดูแลความปลอดภัยของพี่น้องประชาชนชาวไทยตามแนวชายแดนอย่างเต็มกำลังความสามารถ

Royal Thai Army Statement on Cambodian Protest at Ban Nong Chan:

Provocation and Violation of the Ceasefire Agreement

The Royal Thai Army has reported that on 4 September 2025, the 1st Army Area Operations Center received information that approximately 150 Cambodian nationals gathered to protest near Border Marker No. 46, Ban Nong Chan, Khok Sung District, Sa Kaeo Province. The area remains under overlapping territorial claims.

Some individuals in the group were observed engaging in inappropriate and provocative behavior towards Thai officials, carrying sticks as weapons, and acting as apparent leaders by using handheld radios. It was also noted that Cambodian soldiers were present, observing and mingling among the protesters.

From the onset of the incident, the 1st Army Area Operations Center, through the Burapha Task Force, deployed troops alongside police crowd control units from Sa Kaeo Provincial Police Station to maintain order. They are prepared to take immediate action should the protesters violate Thai sovereignty or commit unlawful acts.

At 13:30 hrs., Major General Winthai Suvaree, Army Spokesperson, provided an update, stating that Cambodia had mobilized additional civilians — both from outside the area and passersby — to join the protest and provoke Thai soldiers further. Such actions constitute a breach of the ceasefire agreement mutually endorsed by both Thailand and Cambodia during previous General Border Committee (GBC) and Regional Border Committee (RBC) meetings.

The Army Spokesperson further emphasized that Cambodia must uphold and comply with the agreed-upon regulations, as well as its obligations as a state party to various international conventions. The Royal Thai Army, under the 1st Army Area, reaffirms its readiness to carry out its mission and to act within its mandate should Cambodian nationals commit violations, in order to safeguard national sovereignty, prevent incursions, and protect the safety of Thai citizens along the border to the fullest extent possible.
